Services We Offer
Dry Needling
Dry needling is a technique where you insert a super thin needle into a muscle to allow it to release. It can also turn on a muscle that may be hard for you to activate on your own, improve blood flow, reduce swelling, and calm down irritated nerves. Think of it as the deepest and most effective deep-tissue massage you could ever get. Want all the details? Check out our blog post that explains all you need to know about dry needling.
We now offer dry needling only visits, which can be great to complement other therapies you may be receiving. Please note that you must complete an initial evaluation with one of our doctors of physical therapy first.
Cupping
We use cupping a little differently here. We put cups over targeted muscles and incorporate movement to allow muscle and fascia to move better. This technique is called myofascial decompression and is a great way to improve mobility.
Breath Work
Breathing is the foundation of all movement. It also has a very calming effect on the nervous system. Optimizing breathing allows you to relax and kick starts the process of improving how you move.
Corrective Exercise
Most pain and injury results from compensations in the way you move. By identifying and reversing the compensations through corrective exercise, you are able to move more freely and efficiently.
Functional Strength Training
Being strong in the movements you perform in everyday life is crucial when kicking pain to the curb. We incorporate movements that you do on a regular basis in your individualized program so that you move well with confidence and strength.
